Concrete Cutting
Concrete Cutting (Slab Sawing) is the most commonly used method to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as floors, walls etc. We can make precision cuts in steel-reinforced concrete, pre-cast concrete, asphalt and stone.
Compared to jack hammering, slab sawing is far less noisy and creates significant less stress to structural areas. So most of the engineers recommend this method to make openings in the concrete.
For the purpose of reducing the dust factor while cutting the concrete, we generally using a wet-cutting process. Using sufficient water for the process will reduce the presence of dust and also improve the efficiency and speed of the job by cooling down the diamond blade quickly.
